The beginning.

First decent (over freezing start, sunny, winds under 20 mph) day for many.

Walked 20-30 minutes in the sun this a.m. hoping that will help my sleep tonight.

Starting with oatmeal (half tsp sugar, a little butter) for breakfast, coffee w/2% milk & a tsp. sugar (limiting caffeine intake to 2 cups, before noon.)

It begins. Creakily, but for not having trained at all since late fall’s ice and cold closed the pool, not a big start, but a start. One foot in front of the other, one day at a time.

Today I was invited to do a “ropes course” and told I seemed an athletic/active sort. Sounded like a good idea, as soon as I find out about some other health issues I *will* sign up for it. Free, no time charged off the job, and all the gear provided, all the equipment and setups there on site.

Also I have no excuse for not working out daily, as no more than 200 yards from my office there is a full gym with weights, circuit training, treadmills, a walking track above a basketball court, spa, and all free for my use. So get with it girl!
